Interior Design-Airbnb Alnmouth
Ali contacted us as she was purchasing a holiday rental property in the beautiful town of Alnmouth on the North East coast. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, lounge, kitchen/family room and guest toilet and was in decent shape, but the interiors needed updating. We worked with Ali on the budgeting ahead of the house purchase and had all the trade quotes and breakdown of all items ready for when the property purchase completed.
As the property had bookings lined up, we had a two-week window to get it decorated furnished, styled, and ready to go. The added complication was that Ali lives in North Yorkshire and didn’t have the time to manage the project, so we managed it all for her. We kept in touch throughout the entire process and ensure she had full access to the mood boards and budget sheets.
Once the property purchase was complete, we arranged for the decorators to start the re-decoration of the whole house immediately. As the property was going to be used by the client too, we considered their taste, whilst keeping it neutral, so it attracted people looking to rent a holiday cottage.
We utilised existing pieces of furniture and sourced new pieces where needed, sofas, chairs etc. New bespoke window dressings were added and new lighting throughout. All new bedding, cushions and a host of accessories were used to style the house.
The project was completed within the two-week deadline and the budget achieved and it is now an extremely popular Airbnb property in Alnmouth.
Our family has recently had the pleasure of staying there, and will definitely be booking again!
