Willow & Maine is a North East-based interior design and styling consultancy covering Newcastle, Northumberland, County Durham, Teesside, and Tyne and Wear. We offer bespoke interior design and styling solutions for every size of project, with packages to suit all budgets.

Willow & Maine was born out of a long-standing passion for all things Interior Design. We are based in Ryton, a village on the border of Newcastle and Northumberland. Our name is a combination of ‘the Willows’, a nature reserve in our village on the banks of the River Tyne, and ’Maine’ was chosen to reflect the classic New England decor we love so much.

Because we are so obsessed with interiors, we have curated a new online Lifestyle store, bringing together some of our favourite products to share with you. This store is an extension of our interior design passion, offering a range of curated accessories and finishing touches for your home. You'll find everything from gorgeous scented candles to beautiful linen cushions and lots of other lovely items, with new products being added regularly.

Over the last few years, we have managed a wide range of projects across the North East, from Wynyard up to Bamburgh and everywhere in between. A few of our favourites are an Airbnb in Alnmouth, an architect-designed modern home in Seaham, an Old Rectory in County Durham, a cricketer’s Grade 2 listed cottage, a new build at Wynyard and a Lodge outside of Hexham which we completed for Jessica’s Sarcoma awareness.

Every project we work on is different, and we get as excited about the project as the client does. We love bringing our clients' ideas to life and turning houses into homes. These interior design projects have ranged from simple redecorating and styling to full interior design and property development.
